Details of the amateur radio
station, tower and
antenna configurations and further
information about VA3GY can be found within this web site.
The QTH of VA3GY is in the
beautiful village of Erin, Ontario, Canada. Atop the
Niagara Escarpment, Erin is 400 meters (1300 feet) above sea
level and is about 56 Kms (35 Miles) North West of
the City of Toronto.
First settled in 1834, Erin's early industry were lumber mills -
the power for which was amply supplied by the flow of the west branch of the Credit
River.
Today, the village, along with
Hillburgh to the North and surrounding area is part of the
Town of Erin.

Situated on a 1 acre lot in a quiet sub division on the South
side of the village, Erin has been home to the Crawford family
since moving back to Ontario from Saint John, New Brunswick in
1999. The high elevation a clear take off to the South
makes Erin an idea location for VHF/UHF operation.
