Dufferin ARES Repeaters

The Dufferin ARES group operates two repeaters, one APRS node and a 2M beacon in Ontario.

All units operate with the callsign VE3ZAP.

VE3ZAP-VHF repeater, APRS node and 2M Beacon are located West of the Town of Shelburne, Ontario, Canada.

ZAP-UHF is located West of the Town of Orangeville, Ontario, Canada.

A strong partnership between the County of Dufferin and Amateur Radio, has developed a
reliable repeater system for Emergency Communications.

Although the system has been designed to cover the maximum amount of the County, due to the
high elevation of the site, both repeaters have considerable coverage.
